本書為「應用英文寫作系列」之第八本書，書中練習題部分主要是幫助國人糾正常犯寫作錯誤，由反覆練習中，進而熟能生巧提升有關英文商業策略的寫作能力。
書中內容包括：
1.統計結果的推論及應用；
2.描述組織或科技需求；
3.描述產業所面臨的困境；
4.方案結果的總結；
5.描述公司最新的科技成就；
6.產品 / 服務銷售實例；
7.產品 / 服務開發的未來動向及挑戰。
書中的每個單元呈現三個視覺化的情境，經由以全民英語檢定為標準而設計的口說訓練，聽力，閱讀及寫作四種不同功能來強化英文總體能力。此外，書中附的解答使得本書也非常適合在課堂上使用，教師可以先描述單元情境而讓學生藉由書中練習循序在短期內完成。不論是小組或個人皆可由書中的練習寫出更精確的英文商業策略。
作者簡介
柯泰德
柯泰德先生自1989年即在國立交通大學及清華大學任教，教授研究所科技英文寫作課程。
曾任工研院化工所副研究員（1994-2000）及元培技術學院外文組的專任講師（2002-2005）。
著有五本科技英文寫作系列及七本應用英文寫作系列叢書。同時他也是數本科技期刊的英文編輯。柯先生目前正在攻讀英國東安格利亞大學的教育博士學位。
柯先生同時是第一位美國人士獲得中華民國永久居留權。
