cacao 可口：翡冷翠與一夜

　　這是一本關於夢想與挫敗、絕望與勇氣的革命通訊。每一期介紹一個主題城市、國際創意人，與台灣具有美學思維的人共同討論文化、知識以及趨勢的紮實讀本。

　　「在一個晴好的五月的向晚，
正像是去赴一個美的宴會。」我們微醺地走入了翡冷翠
(Firenze)。這裡的土地溢著托斯卡尼的芬芳，這裡的泉水帶著文藝復興的氣味，我們遊蕩在廣場中，時尚女子的高貴皮革，在略溼石板路上拖曳，歌劇男高音之柔錦輕裘透亮珠寶，在髮鬢香氛裡摩挲喘息。
夜色中、晨霧裡，人們雙雙結伴相擁而行。然後我們哭了笑了，我們觸摸歌者放縱高聲於南歐風光明媚
，我們啜飲舞者溫柔呻吟於地中海酥魂陳酒美食，
我們懷抱建築家設計師偉大傾慕於羅馬藝術千年魂靈。

　　於是，僅一夜，翡冷翠，就讓詩人志摩迷醉。

　　於是，僅一夜，
翡冷翠，就讓你我感官顫動嘆息。

　　這期可口以翡冷翠為核心，來探討每個人的一夜。我們想知道在這夜中，所有可能發生的事件，所有的慾望，所有的情緒、體驗、起伏，所有的膨脹、委靡、狂喜與崩解。我們想知道，在寒冷的人性冬天裡，是否可以如《翡冷翠的一夜》之志摩，
雖然總是癡迷疑惑狂亂，最後仍能冀望於愛的光照下，尋出自己人生的美好路途。

　　“In a sunny evening in May, just like we’re going to a beautiful banquet,”
we walked in Firenze, slightly drunk. The land here is filled with fragrance of Tuscany. The water had the smell of the Renaissance;
we wandered through the square. The precious leather of the stylish woman dragged on the slightly wet cobblestones. The soft brocade and the shining jewelry of the tenor were wheezing in the perfume of the hair. At night, and at dawn, people embraced other and walked together. Then we cried and laughed. We touched the singer, who called out loud in the beauty of Southern Europe. We drank in the dancer groaning tenderly for the Mediterranean, for wine and fine food. We embraced the architect and the great designer, in admiration of the great millenarian soul of Roman Art.

　　Thus, only one night, Firenze mesmerized Chih-mo, the poet. Thus, only one night, Firenze stunned our emotion.

　　In our next issue, Cacao will focuses on Firenze, discussing one night of each person. We want to know about everything;
all the desire, the emotion, each experience, all the ups and downs, the expansions, depressions, ecstasies, the multiple generosities and collapses that come with each passing night. We want to know that in the cold winter of humanity, whether we can still find a beautiful way to live one’s life?
Even though thought itself is an obesesive and doubtful frenzy, we still can hope to feel the light of love shining down upon us, just like Chih-mo in the
“One night in Firenze”.

　　2010年二月十四日，一條由翡冷翠近郊通往翡冷翠新聖母火車站(StazioneFerroviaria Santa Maria Novella)的快速有軌電車T1路線正式啟用，現代化運輸工具已然來到了這個以文藝復興文化著稱的古城的門口。由於翡冷翠市政府籌建中的其他電車路線預計會穿越古城區的核心地帶，引起了當地民眾、媒體熱烈的討論。古城風情該如何保存？快速有軌電車能夠輕易解決這個日趨現代化的城市所面臨的交通阻塞以及隨之而來的污染問題，卻也可以在短短的幾分鐘內引進大量人潮，當地居民幾百年來悠閒慢活的景象勢必將被無根的熙攘群眾所取代。

　　在世界許多國家，以進步之名，傳統文化的吶喊會自然而然的在人群的冷漠中消音。在義大利則不然，在文藝復興古都的翡冷翠更不然。西元1436年，布魯內列斯基(Filippo Brunelleschi)為聖母百花大教堂(Santa Maria del Fiore)所設計的穹頂啟用之時，善頌善禱的文豪阿爾貝堤(Leon Battista Alberti)如此美言道：『結構何等宏偉，向穹蒼矗立，誠然足以庇蔭托斯卡那所有的人民。』Structurasigrande, ertasopra e’
cieli, ampla da coprire chon suaombratutti e popolitoscani. 字裡行間，翡冷翠子民關於自身文化的自豪與霸氣展現無遺。翻開16世紀工程師賽爾里歐(SebastianoSerlio)所著的透視法第二書
(Il secondo libro di perspettiva)，田園劇佈景描繪碎石遍佈、雜草叢生的荒野景象，與宏偉古典建築林立的悲劇佈景以及描繪哥德式街坊樣貌的喜劇佈景呈現出強烈的對比，也深深透露出翡冷翠子民對都市文明的認同，以及對文明之外的蠻荒的排拒與恐懼。漫步在今日的翡冷翠古城中，遊客們能夠體驗它那古樸典雅的文人氣質，以及一種繼往開來的自信心。自古以來，在翡冷翠人的心目中，這個都市不僅僅是個他們稱之為家的小城，它是文明的化身，是世界的中心，是人類智慧所孕育而出的一顆珍珠。
